Lnked ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and related services.
1. Data We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and name to identify you within the platform.
Property Data
Property managers may enter property addresses, unit details, lease terms, and related management information.
Payment Information
Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers, bank account numbers, or other sensitive financial data on our servers. We store only transaction metadata such as payment amounts, dates, and status.
Maintenance Requests
Tenants may submit maintenance requests that include descriptions and photos of issues. This data is stored to facilitate communication between tenants and property managers.
Messages
In-app messages between property managers, tenants, and owners are stored to provide communication history.
2. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row Level Security (RLS) enabled. This means database-level policies enforce that users can only access data they are authorized to see.
All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard encryption protocols (TLS 1.2+).
3. Payment Processing
We use Stripe Connect to process all payments. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant, the highest level of certification available in the payments industry.
When you make or receive a payment through Lnked, Stripe handles all sensitive payment data directly. We never have access to your full card or bank account numbers.
4. Role-Based Access
Lnked enforces strict role-based access controls:
- Property Managers can only view and manage properties they own.
- Tenants can only access information related to their assigned unit.
- Owners have read-only access limited to their investment portfolio.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to provide our platform:
- Supabase - Authentication, database, and file storage
- Stripe - Payment processing and financial account management
- Geoapify - Address autocomplete for property entry
- Expo - Push notifications delivery
- Anthropic Claude - AI-powered receipt scanning for expense tracking
Each of these services has their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or enforcing agreements).

You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct any inaccurate or incomplete data
- Delete your personal data and account
- Export your data in a portable format
